Epi (Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia) grew up in a little village near the Russian border. He studied at the Ulaanbaatar conservatory in the early 1990s. His teacher was the renowned and best morin khuur (horsefiddle) player in Mongolia. Epi is deeply rooted in the traditional and nomadic way of life in Mongolia. Epi offers the smell and the beauty of the Mongolian steppe to the ears and eyes of his audience.
