Tirsa With

(1997) is a writer, translator, voice actor and well-known television host of national Dutch broadcaster NPO. With studied literature at the University of Amsterdam and, in 2020, was an advisor for multi-year subsidies with the Amsterdam Fund for the Arts. Her short story Schrammen voel je tenminste (At Least You Can Feel Scrapes) was published in the anthology De Goede Immigrant (The Good Immigrant, 2020). She wrote the short story Nia as a contribution and reaction to the Asterisk Conversations podcast by Simon(e) van Saarloos with Nalo Hopkinson. Her Dutch translation of the YA novel Brown Girl Dreaming by Jacqueline Woodson was published in 2021.
