trains dancers of the future into artists with a contemporary, creative open outlook, combined with craftsmanship, passion and ambition. Important components of the curriculum are the repertoire of ‘The Dutch School’ - renowned for its unique movement idiom and musicality - and cooperation with Dutch companies, in particular Nederlands Dans Theater. Royal Conservatoire Dance, founded in 1956, has a continuous learning line: Jong KC Dans, School for Young Talent Dans and Bachelor Dans. During the Writers Unlimited 2025 anniversary show Playing with Fire in Amare, KC Dance groups I-IV along with Aaron de Lamotte (KC Dance HBO 3), perform Festina Lente, a choreography by Tessa Cooke to music by Nikolai Kapustin and Henryk Górecki.
