KUENTA

There are only a few bands that know how to transmit as much energy as KUENTA (formerly Kuenta i Tambu). With their raw base-oriented afro- caribbean dance music, or their own tambútronic genre, they get everyone on the dance floor. The band combines hip hop and dance music influences with Caribbean Tambú, resulting in a unique mix of hypnotising beats. The Amsterdam-based quintet has throroughly proven itself as the ultimate festival act during the past couple of years, performing at prominent festivals like Glastonbury, SXSW, Eurosonic Noorderslag and Welcome To The Village.
