MrJetFly

is a multi-award winning musician, producer, composer, live artist developer and creative director. Marlon Francis a.k.a. ‘MrJetFly’, founder of the contemporary music movement Future Kawina, as director of Stichting 4 The Culture and as musical director of the Black Excellence Kawina Orchestra, makes a case for the preservation, development and transmission of Surinamese culture. Meanwhile, he has built an impressive portfolio, including artists like Glen Faria, Ronnie Flex, Andre Hazes jr. and Sabrina Starke. He is also active as creative and musical director for Kenny B and Wulf, and as theatre and music teacher at the Herman Brood Academy, Jeugdtheaterschool Zuidoost and various primary schools in Amsterdam.
