Melisa Diktaş

(The Netherlands) is a dancer of Kurdish and Indonesian descent, born in the Netherlands. She works as a performer in theatrical productions, collaborating with a wide range of companies, choreographers, poets and events. Her solo performances, collaborations and creative processes are rooted in her unique movement dialect and personal worldview, which reflect her beliefs and cultural background. Melisa approaches the creative process from a deep connection with her origins and vision that ‘everything that moves dances’. Her work explores both what connects us and what distinguishes us.
