(1944) is a former politician, former parliamentary leader of D66 and former chair of the Dutch broadcasting authority. From 1998-2003 he chaired the NOS, later renamed Public Broadcasting. He also chaired the Dutch Photo Institute and World Press Photo. Wolffensperger studied law and economics and was a photographer. In 1973 he became a lecturer at the law faculty of the University of Amsterdam. From 1986 to 1997 he was an MP for D66, the last three years as parliamentary leader.
