Franklin Foer
Franklin Foer (1974) is an American journalist and writes for, among others, Slate, New York Magazine and The Atlantic. His book How Soccer Explains the World: An Unlikely Theory of Globalization was a worldwide succes. As editor at The New Republic, he wrote about Amazon which resulted in a confrontation wit the owner and tech millionaire Chris Hughes. That expericen is partly the basis of his new book World Without Mind.
Franklin Foer is the eldest brother of best selling author Jonathan Franklin Foer (Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close and Everything is Illuminated) and journalist Joshua Foer (Moonwalking with Einstein). Both younger brothers state Franklin as 'the brillian of us three'.
