Mohamed Ahaddaf
is an accomplished ud and andalousian musician originally from Tetouan, Morocco. At a young age, Mohamed was spotted by the famous Moroccan conductor Mohamed Ben Larbi Temsamani, who asked him to join his orchestra. This encounter prompted Mohamed to tour through Europe in 1997 where he fell in love with Amsterdam. Here, he made a name for himself ever since and Amsterdam is his muse for his growing repertoire. Mohamed surrounds himself with musicians who contribute to his vision of Arabic music combined with jazz and Latin sound. Mohamed stands out in the Amsterdam landscape of international music thanks to his deep sound and lyrical melodies.
