Suzy Byczuk

is a book lover, sport enthusiast, and final-year European Studies student at The Hague University for Applied Sciences (THUAS). She co-heads the educational events of GSA (Gender and Sexuality Alliance, part of THUAS) and works in the Inclusion Office. She is passionate about making THUAS more inclusive and building a student community where everyone feels welcome, valued, and has a sense of belonging. She will lead the conversation at the Lighthouse Book Club with author Alvina Chamberland about her English-language debut novel Love the World or Get Killed Trying (2024) during the 30th Writers Unlimited International Literature Festival The Hague (23-26 January 2025).
