Ilyaz Nasrullah

insists that he is first and foremost human, and then a computer scientist who graduated from TU Delft in Data Science, as well as a consultant who advises startups, large companies and governments on their digital strategy and digital innovation. According to him, digital technology is too often seen as an end in itself, which loses sight of people. And yet Nasrullah sees digital technology as an important means of making our lives and society more enjoyable. To make the human voice heard about digital technology, he became a columnist for Trouw newspaper; his columns stand out because they make topics such as artificial intelligence easier to understand. He believes that society can only take charge of technology if even "digital illiterates" understand the impact of that technology.
