Thomas de Veen

(1986) is a literary editor at NRC Handelsblad, the national Dutch newspaper with which he has been associated since 2011 as a reviewer of youth literature and Dutch fiction. Previously he studied history and Dutch at the University of Amsterdam and wrote about literature for the weekly newspapers Kidsweek and 7Days. He was a member of literary juries and contributed to various magazines, collections of essays and the book The ABC by Annie MG; from the A van Abeltje to the Z by Ziezo, a colourful reference work edited by Joke Linders.
