Salsabrass Proyecto Zuecos

is a swinging salsa band in a 'almost' brass band formation. By replacing the traditional bass with a bass tuba and putting in extra trombones, trumpets and percussion, the band produces a dynamic sound. Frans Cornelissen the trombonist played from 1990 in various top bands and wrote arrangements for various salsa bands and orchestra's. For a couple of years he entertained the idea of playing salsa in an 'almost' brass band formation and in the summer of 2003 he finally succeeded.
