Writers Unlimited's Friends

Since 1995, Writers Unlimited has been bringing writers, poets, spoken-word artists and musicians together with the public at the annual Writers Unlimited International Literature Festival in The Hague. The festival brings together over 100 authors from the Netherlands and abroad. In addition, there are monthly events throughout the year in libraries, schools, community centres and other partner venues. With your support, we can continue to organise these activities. What kind of friend will you be?

Friend: As a Friend, you support us as a private individual with an annual donation of €50. You will receive an invitation for two people to the Opening Night of the Writers Unlimited Festival.

Best Friend: As a Best Friend, you support us as a private individual with an annual donation of €100. You’ll receive an invitation for two people to the Opening Night of the Writers Unlimited Festival, as well as a signed book of your choice by one of our festival writers.

Close Friend: As a Close Friend, you support us as a private individual with an annual donation of €250. You will receive an invitation for two people to the Opening Night of the Writers Unlimited Festival, a signed book of your choice by one of our festival authors, and two tickets for Friday Night Unlimited or Saturday Night Unlimited.

Golden Friend: As a Golden Friend, you support us as a private individual with an annual donation ranging from €1,000 to €5,000, or as a company with a donation of €5,000 or more, in both cases for a period of at least three years, preferably in the form of a (tax-deductible) regular donation. For our Gold Friends, we organise exclusive activities; you’ll receive free tickets to our events and an invitation to attend the writers’ dinner with a guest.

One-off donation: Of course, a one-off donation is also an option. You can make this via IBAN NL47 INGB 0006 0347 08 in the name of Stichting Vrienden van Writers Unlimited.

All friends also receive:

  • The newsletter that keeps you up to date with inspiring appearances by Dutch and international writers
  • The chance, as early as September, to book tickets at a discount for the festival in January
  • Discounts on tickets for the Writers Series throughout the year, where you can have your book signed by the author after the event
  • Free access to all video recordings of Writers Unlimited’ programmes

Donate now and benefit from tax relief yourself. Writers Unlimited is a cultural ANBI organisation, which means your contribution is covered by the Gift Tax Act.
