Biguine Balade

plays swinging Latin music. Band leader Alain Anglionin was born on Martinique and learned music at his mother's knee. Anglionin has lived in the Netherlands for over twenty years but in his music the percussionist, singer, guitarist and composer remains loyal to the Caribbean. He conducts various musical groups and gives workshops. Over the years he has built a wide repertoire of compositions of his own and long-forgotten evergreens from the Caribbean. With his sextet Biguine Balade he brings irresistible celebratory music.
