Nighat Dad

(Pakistan) founded the Digital Rights Foundation in 2015. It supports female internet users, e.g. with digital safety trainings, awareness campagnes and the newly developed Cyber Harassment Helpline. By her way of working she is able to reach women in the whole of Pakistan, also the less accessable areas. In November 2016 she was awarded the Human Rights Tulip 2016 by the Dutch minister for foreign affairs Koenders. This is an annual award for human righs defenders.
