was born in 1958 in Denpasar (Bali, Indonesia). He studied architecture at Jakarta university before completing his undergraduate in economics at Udayana University. His poetry anthology Kita Bersaudara has been translated and published under the title We Are All One. His latest poetry book is Malam Cahaya Lampion. He was invited to the Tasmanian Readers' and Writers' Festival and the Literary Festival Winternachten Overseas in Surinam (2006). He was Writer in Residence in Hobart, Tasmania. He enjoyed to create music of poetry. He is active with the Sanggar Mimum Kopi (SMK) community, Bali, and the guest editor of Coast Lines magazines and editor of CAK and Paradox.

(Indonesia) has a Dutch mother and an Indonesian father. After she was educated in Indonesia, she graduated from Tourism Schools in Switzerland and the USA. She began her career as a Public Relations Manager in a hotel in Bali, as well as facilitator in various inhouse training programmes. She now studies Business Administration in Bandung (Indonesia). She writes poetry and short stories in Indonesian and English, published in a number of newspapers and cultural journals. Anak-Anak Vampir (2003) is her first collection of poetry. The English translation will be published shortly. She describes her work as follows: "I think that I have unconsciously written many idyls, odes, lyrical poetry and satire. Everything can be a subject for my work: the toothbrush in the bathroom or the death of my grandmother, my early memories of 'dancing on a graveyard', or how I detest houserules. I have written about 25 poems about female roles and characteristics in the cultural and tourism industry."

(Rinsumageest, 1974) made his debut in 2000 with Frisian volume of poetry De wizers yn it read (The Needles in the Red). In 2008 a bilingual anthology appeared of his Frisian poetry, De Berte fan it swarte hynder (The Birth of the Black Horse). Bruinja translated the poems himself, and in many instances revised them. In this volume he evokes his youth in the Frisian countryside, whereby the illness and death of his mother plays a prominent role. Bruinja edited various anthologies, among others Droom in blauwe regenjas (Dream in a Blue Raincoat; 2004), a compilation of Frisian poems, Klotengedichten (Bollocks Poems; 2005, poetry about the scrotum) and Kutgedichten (Cunt Poems; 2005, on the female genitals). In 2007 the volume Bang voor de bal (Fear of the Ball) appeared. Tsead Bruinja wrote poetry reviews for newspapers, magazines, and radio. He combines his poetry readings with live music, such as flamenco, trance and hiphop and frequently interviews other poets before an audience.
