(1961) studied history at the University of Groningen and received his Ph. D. from the department of the history of international relations at the University of Utrecht with a thesis on Dutch-Indonesian relations between 1950-1962. Since 1996 he has been a postdoctoral researcher of the history of the Dutch in the Dutch East Indies/Indonesia in the 20th century. He has worked for various agencies in the field of repatriation and veteran care. At the moment he is finishing a publication on the Indo-European community in the Dutch East Indies/Indonesia in the 20th century. Within the research programme From the Dutch East Indies to Indonesia he is responsible for the research into 'Backpay in an international perspective' carried out by the University of Utrecht.

(1965, Amsterdam) graduated in 1992 in anthopology and sociology of non-western societies at the University of Amsterdam. He is interested in the modern social and economic and political history of southeast Asia, Indonesia in particular. He took his doctoral degree from the Free University of Amsterdam with a study of Indonesian and ethnic Chinese textile entrepreneurs in West Java. Since November 20012 he has worked with NIOD as a research coordinator of the Feasibility Study Dutch East Indies Accounts. In mid-August he began a study into the settlement of material damage as a result of the Japanese occupation. Peter Keppy is also very much interested in etno-musicology. In addition to being a scientist he is an amateur musician and band leader of the Orkes Kep & Tau.

(Netherlands, 1958) has produced and presented the VPRO radio programme OVT since 2002, a two-hour show about the historical roots of current events as well as newly released historical books, films, commemorations, and anything else related to history. The show features live interviews, reportage, columns and a weekly documentary during the last half hour. He was already linked to OVT since 1992 as a programmer and previously freelanced for other national Dutch broadcasters such as VARA and IKON.
