Since 1994 freedom in South Africa has a double meaning: liberation from oppression and the freedom of personal expression. For Tumelo and Dominique, two female hip hop DJ's, the new era rings in a period of personal freedom. Their opinions and lifestyle bring them into conflict with their more conservative parents. Tumelo and Dominique create new realities - between black and white, between male and female, literally crossing great distances; however, the generation gap remains as wide as before.
