Film: Main Reef Road

South African road movie on present day South Africa, directed by Nick Hofmeyer. Main Reef Road connects the cities directly on the western and eastern side of Johannesburg, beyond the mines. The director followed a number of people living along this road, such as the charismatic black activist who is the leader of a squatted residential area, and a white schoolgirl dreaming of a career as a singer.
