Film: Commune child

A documentary by director Maroesja Perizonius about her experiences as a child in the movement of the Indian guru Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh. When she was six years old Maroesja followed her mothers example and became a follower of Bhagwan. Seven years later her mother decided to sell the house and furniture and, together with her daughter, move to the Amsterdam Bhagwan commune. Not long after that Maroesja was separated from her mother and was sent to a childrens commune in England. In the film Maroesja asks her mother how she feels about that period. She goes back to the former communes in Amsterdam and England and contacts another commune child. She also travels to India where, as a six year old child, she received her new name from the Bhagwan.
