Writers told us about their favourite book: the book that inspires or touches them, that set their artistic, moral or intellectual compass. In short, the book they would recommend to everyone. Interview: Charlotte Remarque.

Sophia Blyden chose as her favourite book Never Let Me Go (2005) by Nobel Prize laureate Kazuo Ishigoro, a gripping novel (successfully adapted for the big screen, like his best-known book The Remains of the Day) about moral dilemmas surrounding clones bred to save the lives of others.
