(India, 1995) is a poet and artist from Bangalore. In 2018 she graduated from Bryn Mawr College in Philadelphia, USA, with a BA in Creative Writing. She was a 2018-2019 Thomas J. Watson Fellow, a 2018 Pushcart Prize nominee, and the winner of the 2018 Button Poetry Video Contest. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Virginia Quarterly Review, The Offing, Vinyl Poetry & Prose, The Academy of American Poets, The Shade Journal, DW B, and elsewhere. She is currently an MFA candidate in Poetry at Washington University in St. Louis, where she is poetry editor of The Spectacle Magazine. Sheriff was a guest of the 2018 Winternachten International Literature Festival The Hague.

(1998) won, at age 18, the first Jan Paul Bresser Prize for his essay "The World is a Bucket of Mud", published in De Groene Amsterdammer. From the perspective of student, he describes coming to the Netherlands from Turkey as a small boy and ending up in the Hague's Schilderswijk neighbourhood. There, he sees boys choosing the wrong path, and the hate towards Muslims and the mudslinging increasing. "How is it possible, then, to build something for yourself?" he wonders, finishing with the words: "We have to wait for the mud to dry, to be hard enough to build fortresses." Cengiz has written for Scholieren.com and Mindshakes people profiles for the Hague and Rotterdam Straatniews newspapers. Since winning the prize, he regularly writes columns for De Groene Amsterdammer and is working on a novel.

(Yozgat, 1963) came to The Netherlands in 1980 in the context of family reunification. After working fourteen years in greenhouse agriculture, he followed a study in teaching Turkish language at the Nuts Academy in Rotterdam and worked as Turkish language teacher until 2004. Following his subsequent study Teaching at the Hogeschool Inholland, he works at primary school teacher in Schilderswijk neighbourhood in The Hague. Ibrahim Eroglu has been distinguished with several poetry awards, both in The Netherlands and abroad. To this day, he published four poetry collections and five joke collections.

(The Hague, 1992) is a The Hague-based vocalist with Turkish roots. Her interest in cultural diversity does not only reflect in her studies (Cultural Anthropology, Religious Sciences and World music) and her work, but also in the choice of songs she performs and the languages in which she sings.
