(The Netherlands, 1970) is a presenter, producer, actor and voice-over artist specializing in music, literature, arts and culture. After graduating as actor from the Toneelschool Amsterdam he was a member, among others, of the ensemble of the Nationale Toneel. He was a presenter at Amsterdam-based broadcaster AT5 and a radio producer with the KRO on national network NPO Radio 1. He narrates audio books, and was shortlisted for the Storytel Award 2019 for Best Audio Book with his reading of Ilja Leonard Pfeijffer's novel Grand Hotel Europa. Until last year, he presented on radio station Sublime the daily morning show Sublime Sunrise, the Instagram poetry programme Sublime Smooth and evening show The Sublime Experience. In 2025 he wrote and hosted the tv-series Kringlopen met Francis on regional Dutch broadcaster NH. Broekhuijsen works for Writers Unlimited as festival curator and presenter.

(Amersfoort, 1987) made her debut in 2013 as a poet with the anthology of poetry Uitzicht is een afstand (A view with a distance) which was immediately nominated for the C. Buddingh Prize and which won her the Liegend Konijn debut prize. The press lauded this book of poetry too. After her Image and Language studies at the Rietveldacademie in Amsterdam Klein Zandvoort moved to London, where she now researches the relationship between language and image. Her poetic debut was preceded by a study about the meaning of words. Like that of many other 'Rietveld poets' her work is amorphous and extremely imaginative. No interpunction or titles. In the first lines 'vlokken schapen' (flakes of sheep) pass by, someone walks on a wishywashy road and later she writes sentences like: ‘calmness having wrung itself around my throat.' Bernke Klein Zandvoort also makes videos, writes essays, recites from her work and has been a regular guest with VPRO Radio.
