Valérie Drost

is director-director of the Literatuurmuseum/Kinderboekenmuseum, chairman of the Jan Campert Foundation and secretary of the P.C. Hooft Prize for Literature Foundation. The Literatuurmuseum/Kinderboekenmuseum, where Drost has been director since 2024, is a vibrant family museum that attracts 150,000 visitors annually. Besides family museum, it is also the place where national literary heritage from 1750 to the present is kept and preserved. The (national) museum makes its archives available for research and also, thanks to the online museum LiteratuurLab, new generations are introduced to our literary past.
