VWith discountto the entire Winternachten festival day Sunday 12 March 2023, at Theater aan het Spui in The Hague!

Your festival day started at 14:30 with the programme The World According to Cusk, which includes a conversation with world-renowned British best-selling author Rachel Cusk and a performance by singer Meral Polat. Included an after programme in the lobby with mini lectures, book sale and signing.

In the evening programme Literary Focus: Ukraine (19:30-22:00 hours) we welcomed writers from Ukrainian and Eastern European backgrounds to speak about the meaning of writing and books in a time of war. The writers read from their own work. Included a pre programme in the lobby with mini lectures, book sale and signing.

Both programmes on Sunday 12 March 2023 were English spoken or interpreted. The readings were in the writing language but could be followed in English translation on a projection screen in the auditorium.
