For the second time Winternachten went Overseas in Cape Town and Durban. In Durban as part of the festival Time of the Writer, in Cape Town as the literary programme of the Cape Town Festival. Winternachten took five authors to South-Africa: from Indonesia, Holland and Suriname. With these authors Winternachten contributed to a number of literary progammes in these two South African festivals.
